About Peggy Cormary | Commercial & Fine Art Photographer in Washington DC

I see photography as a dialogue between beauty, purpose, and sustainability. My passion for art, design, and visual storytelling guides the way I capture light, texture, and color — whether in food, interior spaces, or hospitality experiences.

I hold a degree in Visual Arts from the American College of the Mediterranean in Aix-en-Provence, France, where I studied under renowned photographers who shaped both my technical skill and artistic vision. Over the past decade, I’ve helped restaurants, chefs, and creative brands elevate their visual identity through photography that feels honest, refined, and connected to place.

My collaborations often center around sustainable and ethical values — from farm-to-table restaurants and eco-conscious wineries to designers who favor natural materials and mindful spaces. I believe that great photography doesn’t just show what we see; it communicates what we stand for.

My work has been featured in The Washington Post, Country Life Australia, White House Historical Association, RedBull, Aix Rosé etc.. 

In 2025, my APA Award-winning series “The Four Seasons of Flavors” celebrated the art of seasonal cuisine through color, light, and texture — reflecting my belief that sustainability begins with awareness and creative intention.
